Ikwezi Art Centre - proudly sponsored by Silke Financial Services

Many of you have visited the Ikwezi Art Centre at the Montebello Design Centre in Newlands Avenue and seen the works of art on display, both there and at our offices.

In the interests of assisting the Centre to bring township art closer to the buying public and the tourist trade we are pleased to announce an exhibition specifically devoted to the Centre's art at the Waterfront Craft Market, Blue Shed (next to the Two Oceans Aquarium), Dock Road, V&A Waterfront.

'Celebrating our Differences' is the theme of the exhibition and the art on display comprises the artists' latest works in oils, acrylics, ceramics and mixed media. The exhibition will run from the 19th till the 31st of August 2008.

This is the first opportunity the artists have had of showing their work in such a prolific venue and we invite you to join us in our enthusiasm for their efforts and to come along and enjoy their latest works.
