Dear Valued Silke Clients,
As we close the chapter on 2025 and step into 2026, I do so with a sense of gratitude, optimism and personal purpose. On a personal note, one of my goals for this year is to complete the Midmar Mile in February. A reminder to me that meaningful progress, whether in health, wealth, or life, comes from steady preparation, discipline and commitment over time. As Georgia once reminded me (at age 5): "You shouldn't break the rules daddy 'cause policemen are always watching - like God and Christmas."
The year behind us once again reminded us that markets move, circumstances change and life continues to unfold, yet well-structured planning remains a powerful anchor. At Silke Financial Services, we remain deeply committed to helping you align your wealth with what truly matters in your life, today and across generations.
Here is a snapshot of our journey together.

Key Insights from 2025
1. A more focused client base While total client numbers reduced slightly, the number of family relationships remains strong. This reflects a deliberate move toward deeper, multi-generational Wealthcare relationships rather than transactional planning.
2. Inter-generational continuity With our youngest investor born in December 2025 and our oldest investors still actively invested, Silke continues to span nearly a century of life stages - a rare privilege in financial planning. As our oldest investor puts it, "I have a long-term view." ๐
3. Broadening client residency footprint With clients now residing in Singapore, our client base continues to reflect globally mobile lives, reinforcing the need for planning that works across borders while remaining firmly grounded in South Africa.
4. Rising commitment to saving Monthly regular savings increased to R1.400 million, highlighting renewed discipline and long-term thinking from clients despite ongoing global uncertainty.
5. Increased income drawdowns While client income withdrawals increased during 2025, drawdowns remain comfortably within sustainable levels. This reflects a disciplined balance between enjoying wealth today and preserving capital for the years and generations ahead.
