A long weekend of celebration and remembrance

Today, we celebrate Youth Day in South Africa and commemorate the courage and resilience of the young people who fought for freedom and equality in the Soweto Uprising of 1976. On this day, we also celebrate what would have been my friend and mentor Kenny's birthday. "Happy birthday Ken".

This Sunday, we honor our fathers who have shaped us into who we are, and thank them for the unwavering support and guidance they provide. Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there!

For me - I get to watch my favourite yellow submarine movie with my gals agaaaaaaaaain!
