More Information About The Lloyds TSB Offshore Bank Account

We've had plenty of feedback about this morning's communiqué about opening an off-shore bank account.

Here is some more information regarding the minimum requirements to qualify for opening up a Lloyds TSB Offshore Bank Account:

• The minimum amount to be deposited in the account and held in there for 30 days is £25 000 (or currency equivalent), thereafter a minimum of £2 500 must be maintained in the account;
• Should the amount be above the required minimum of £2 500 (or currency equivalent), then the account will be fee free, ie no charges for incoming fees or normal outgoing transfers into other bank accounts. Should the amount drop below £2 500 then a monthly fee of £20 is applicable. Currency conversion of 2.5% is however applicable should funds change currency.
• £2 500 or $3 500 or 3 000 Euro are the minimum balances
