As the end of the Hajj pilgrimage approaches, we would like to send a message of good wishes to all our clients and families of Silke Financial Services.
Eid ul-Adha is an important time for Muslims, both of deep reflection and celebration. It marks the end of the Hajj - the largest annual gathering of Muslims in the world. When Muslims demonstrate their belief that all people are equal and should live peacefully together. The ideas of peace, compassion and giving, which are so important at this time, are common to us all and should be observed to unite Muslims and non-Muslims
Eid ul-Adha marks the end of the Hajj and commemorates Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son when God commanded him to do so. Muslims mark the period with special prayers and charitable giving. Eid-ul-Adha is also known as the 'festival of Sacrifice' or the Greater Eid. The Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca, which all Muslims who are physically able to undertake, should at least once in their lifetime do so.
Happy Eid Mubarak from all of us here at the Silke Financial Services team. |
